ASSIGNMENT 1
This is our first assignment in CTS, making a sci-fi cube inclusive of 5 interactice elements. This is a group work, so we discussed what sci-fi movie to choose for around 30 minutes. Finally, we had chosen 'Passengers' to be our theme of the cube. We were struggling on choosing a game box or a story-telling box. After getting some suggestions and feed back from Mr Charles, we decided to do a game box.
This assignment really made us to think hard. Fortunately, all our group members gave their ideas and well-participated in all the discussions.
So, we decided to make a game-based sci-fi cube. Our game is mainly about connecting the two separated parts of the spaceship. The concept of the game is from one of the scenes in the movie, which was Jim went out to the spaceship to fix, in the same time Aurora helped to control the spaceship.
